We all at Woodvale and Shankill Community Housing Association realise times are strange and times are scary for some people. In fact everyone is feeling a little bit out of sorts at the minute , to say the least ! But we will get through this and we can help by working together and looking out for each other. As an Association we are providing hot meals for all our vulnerable tenants and not just for tenants but local residents who are on their own and vulnerable. We have provided funding for the Welcome Community group who are helping locally to get us all through this difficult time. Our own warden Eileen is also picking up prescriptions , delivering medicines and shopping where necessary. We want you to know we are there to help and we will continue to help and support our tenants for as long as this period of uncertainty lasts. As a community we are renowned for looking out
for each other. Let’s continue to do this.
Housing Association Services
When arranging appointments such as repairs, inspections, ASB investigations etc., staff will now ask you about health or recent travel. This is to protect other tenants and employees and to ensure we deliver the right level of service.
The Association will also ask if you are self-isolating before a staff member calls to visit.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update this information if we need to take any further measures.
If we are required to close the office we would request tenants to call the following numbers for emergency repairs only.
General repairs 07983271379
Plumbing repairs 07743433500
Electrical repairs 0788927451
For any other queries on housing or maintenance call 07394831379

The maintenance programme to replace and upgrade properties is now well under way. Phase 1 which covered 51 properties in Cambrai Street and Disraeli Street, Belfast is now complete.
Phase 2 has now started which will cover 38 properties. We are now in contact with those tenants to gain access to assess the work that needs carried out. If you receive a request for access please respond quickly to to allow your property to be surveyed.
Tenant Satisfaction Survey
The Association will very shortly be asking all our tenants to complete a tenant satisfaction survey. We hope all our tenants will contribute as it is essential we have your opinion on a number of issues. Your views will form part of how we provide future services. So please take part!
You can chose how you wish to take part in the survey by choosing one of the following options:
- Having a member of our staff calling to your home to carry out the Survey;
- A Telephone call;
- By posting the survey to your home and returning it to the office (we can arrange for a member of staff to collect the survey if you are unable to return it);
- Completing the survey online.
We will contact each tenant via post for you to chose which option is best suitable for you.
